A field. A long barren field. Not a flaw within it. The breeze, warm yet soothing, sending little bits of grass flowing through the air. Clouds drift along the skyline following the wind wherever it goes.

His paradise.

A mermaid found a swimming lad,
Picked him for her own,
Pressed her body to his body,
Laughed; and plunging down
Forgot in cruel happiness
That even lovers drown.
